Key Responsibilities:
- 10+ years of experience in developing and implementing test strategies and plans, including test objectives, scope, resource allocation, and schedules.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) may be preferred.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and developers to understand project requirements and determine the testing approach.
- Build and lead a team of testers, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and mentorship.
- Ensure the team has the necessary skills and resources to perform their roles effectively.
- Oversee the execution of test cases, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Implement and enforce quality assurance processes and standards.
- Conduct reviews and audits of test artifacts to ensure compliance with best practices and project requirements.
- Evaluate the feasibility of test automation and develop automated test scripts where applicable.
- Manage and maintain the automation framework and tools.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Ensure clear and concise communication of test results to project stakeholders.
- Identify and assess testing risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Report risks to project management and make recommendations for risk reduction.
- Define and track key testing metrics to measure the effectiveness and progress of testing activities.
- Prepare and present test status and defect reports to project stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging testing technologies.
- Implement process improvements and optimizations in the testing methodology.
- Nice to have domain experience – Healthcare / Mobile / BFSI domain and business experience.
